EZO appoints new Director of Operations

We’re delighted to announced the appointment of Cillian Rooney as its new Director of Operations.

As Director of Operations, Rooney will oversee the delivery and performance of EZO’s upcoming projects across Ireland and the UK. He will lead the company’s operational strategy, driving process improvements, resource optimisation and team development to support EZO’s continued growth.

Rooney joins EZO following his role as COO at EV charger provider, Weev, where he led the delivery of critical EV infrastructure. He brings over 18 years of experience to EZO, spanning industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects throughout Ireland and the UK.

Rooney has built a strong track record across power generation, renewable energy and large-scale infrastructure development, progressing through a range of senior operational and leadership roles.

He holds both an MSc in Construction Management and an MBA. In addition to his professional achievements, Cillian also sits on the Board of Management for a local housing association in a voluntary capacity.

Backed by Rubicon Capital Advisors, which advised on the €30 million investment from Aviva Investors in 2023, EZO was founded in 2018 and rebranded from EasyGo earlier this year.
