Our infrastructure is developed with a focus on accessibility, system compatibility, and integration with broader e-mobility platforms.

Our Network

EZO’s chargers are deployed across a range of locations including cities, towns, commercial hubs, and along key travel routes.

Geographic Coverage: Chargers are located in urban centres, regional towns, retail sites, workplaces, and transit corridors
Charger Types: Includes a mix of AC (7kW–22kW) and DC fast chargers (50kW–150kW+)
Use Cases: Designed for public access, fleet operations, and destination charging
Network expansion is guided by demand patterns, operational data, and national infrastructure plans.

Interoperability & Roaming

EZO supports open access to a broader charging ecosystem by enabling roaming across compatible platforms.

  • Integration with ESB eCars & IONITY:

EZO users can access ESB eCars and IONITY charge points directly through the EZO app, extending network reach beyond our own chargers.

  • OCPP-Compliant Infrastructure:

All new installations support Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP), allowing flexibility in hardware selection and backend integration.

  • Roaming Partnerships:

EZO is integrated with roaming platforms such as Gireve, Octopus Electroverse, and Digital Charging Solutions (DCS). These agreements improve visibility across multiple channels and allow access through major EV brands and aggregator apps.

  • Supported Access Methods:

Charging sessions can be initiated via the EZO app, RFID cards, or contactless payments, aligned with user preferences and regulatory expectations.

Ongoing Integration

EZO continues to expand its interoperability through new roaming agreements with automotive OEMs and mobility service providers.

This includes visibility through in-car systems and native EV apps used by brands such as Volkswagen Group (Elli), Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Hyundai, and others.

These integrations are aimed at supporting wider adoption, increasing charger utilisation, and contributing to a more connected public charging experience across Ireland and beyond.
